In Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, student and animal rescuer Ashish Joshi is putting his own life at risk to save animals trapped in dangerous situations. His rescue missions range from climbing into deep wells to save leopards and helping nilgai trapped in pits, to entering manholes to rescue stranded dogs. These are far from ordinary rescue operations. Ashish has rescued a variety of animals, including leopards, wolves, blackbucks and nilgai. Despite being a student, he has already saved nearly 400 animals, earning recognition for his courage and commitment to wildlife rescue.
