Record Club: An Underground Miscellany // 21 May 2026

5/20/2026
In our 2nd Anniversary show Madonovan tells us about the time he literally stared into the Sun as a child and now has permanent black spots in his eyes... He calls Eric Burdon out by pointing out that a Sky Pilot would actually touch the sky. He plays the intro track to one of the few great concept albums of the 90s and gives a shout out to the August Acidfest tour by playing The Dead Zoo. And of course as always gives a nod to optimism as defiance. A.V. has an exclusive on the new video single release from Scare Taxi, picks up some other new release gems on the beach of music and puts them in her playlist basket alongside kicking off with the iconic Prince. Long may he purple rain. Enjoy!
