Arsenal have one hand on TITLE as Pep Guardiola set to LEAVE Man City
5/19/2026
1-0, to the Arsenal... the famous song was sung loud and proud at the Emirates, as Arsenal beat already relegated Burnley thanks to Kai Havertz's first half header. It was another goal from a set-piece, and moved Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League - with just one game to go.
Manchester City's game in hand sees them head to Bournemouth tonight, knowing that anything but a victory will see Mikel Arteta's side crowned Premier League champions. But, the build up to the match has been overshadowed by the news that Pep Guardiola is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
Two seismic stories, so who better than host Angelina Kelly and talkSPORT's Chief Football Correspondent, Alex Crook, to bring you the best reaction and insight as the Premier League nears its conclusion.
Plus, they also looked ahead to tonight's other match, as Chelsea host Tottenham Hotspur - with the visitors knowing that a point will all but mathematically secure their top flight status - due to their vastly superior goal difference then West Ham's.
You can hear it all unfold across the talkSPORT network!

Fiery Fridays: Phil Foden has RETIRED
5/8/2026
Fiery Fridays are BACK and in today’s episode, Adrian Durham gets straight into it and congratulates Phil Foden on his retirement! Despite being just 25-years-old, Adrian can't fathom why the Man City midfielder has signed a new four-year contract at the club when he can't get a run in the team, and thinks he should join a newly promoted side instead. Interestingly, there wasn't too much push back from Alex Crook and Angelina Kelly - which might highlight Foden's struggles right now.
Speaking of Crooky, and he's parked his tanks on the lawn of Anthony Gordon - who he believes Newcastle should cash in on right now. Meanwhile, Angelina has focused on Myles Lewis-Skelly's move into midfield and believes he should partner Declan Rice in midfield - not for Arsenal, but for England!
As you know by now, every Friday is all about bold opinions, strong feelings, and arguments just waiting to happen. As the week winds down, we’re turning the heat all the way up… that's another three HUGE opinions… no sitting on the fence… and absolutely no fear of things getting a little heated.
